Bugger. I got my sums wrong and have gone $600 into the red with my checking account.
Fuckity fuck.In the US you get charged $35 per transaction that pushes you into the red.
I phoned them up and it works out i have two transactions i will be getting fined for - my YMCA membership and a Credit Card payment.
I squealed 'UNNNFFFAAAIIIRRRRR" on the phone to a lovely woman from HSBC and as a one time courtesy they will let me off the $70.
Thank you HSBC.
It pays to ask folks. You never know what might happen.
I can't believe it happened. I am so on top of my finances it is unreal. I have learnt my lesson and thankfully it was a free one.
